It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the record chasers, are all that remain for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

It is hard for their hitters to hold a record if not afforded the chance.

In the end, the outcome of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy getting a chance to deliver her most recent brilliance.

Originally famous as the 19-year-old niece of celebrated previous Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after her nation couldn't capture either of the T20 or ODI World Cups from the prior year and has witnessed all through 15 championship-filled years since.

"For those following me in the nets, it has been a disappointing period because it seemed I've had no rhythm at all," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you enter the playing area, your fighting spirit activate and you completely engage with the competition."

Healy's competitiveness has always been her major advantage - and an invaluable trait in succeeding iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, dismissed by the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but this time it merely gave Healy's inspiration.

A single came off the opening delivery and from there the right-hander was in motion.

"The possibility to play and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that regard, sort of got me going," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was dismissed her side required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if we do, we are confident we can do it."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this World Cup need to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this triumph coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they left the previous year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a game Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at an important competition.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she wanted to have participated through the pain.

But while she afterwards confessed those injuries have pushed back plans to retire, this championship is likely to be her final tournament as skipper in one-day cricket and she is yet to win a global event as leader.
